GITAM University counselling for admissions into BTech programmes is being conducted across the centers as per the schedule. The admissions will be made into the GITAM campuses present at Hyderabad and the main campus, Vishakapatnam. The Hyderabad campus was started 2 years ago after it received deemed university status from UGC.

The seats will be filled according to the rank achieved by the students in GITAM Admission Test 2011. The online exam was conducted at various centers across the country. Till now, the counselling was completed for candidates upto rank 7990. The counselling for the reserved category seats has already been completed.

  Most of the students gave preference to get admitted into the main campus at Vishakapatnam over the new campus at Hyderabad. The facilities and locale of the Vishakapatnam campus surely has an edge over the Hyderabad campus. Located at the seashore with the beach few yards away from the campus, the main campus is adorable with greenery and infrastructure.
